Connectivity

Oklahoma City Intermodal Transportation Hub at the Santa Fe Terminal, Oklahoma City, OK
96″ × 108″ × 48″ — stainless steel, fused glass
Commissioned by Oklahoma City

Positioned above the main entry doors of Oklahoma City’s historic Santa Fe Terminal, Connectivity celebrates the energy, movement, and layered histories converging in this vibrant transportation hub. Composed of hand-brushed stainless steel arcs and rings, the sculpture suggests motion and expansion, its forms drawn from wheels, pistons, and historic train engines.

Fused glass elements shift with changing light, casting luminous shadows that move across the surrounding architecture throughout the day. Seen from inside and out — through tall lobby windows, from the train platform, or glimpsed from the street — the work becomes both beacon and metaphor, expressing the timeless nature of human connection in a space where past and future intersect.
