Inspired by the enduring architecture of Mission San Juan Capistrano, these paired wall sculptures honor the beauty of California’s mission history. The weathered stones and elegant arches are reinterpreted as aluminum panels, water jet cut and coated with a bronze finish. Floated off the wall, the works create depth through shifting light and shadows, recalling both the permanence and transformation of place.
